majority will go LEOnard.
but you dont pronounce LEOpard do you ?
there was even once the malay girl taking my order wrote:

ok so for the sake of all these boorish ppl,
i will always just use my initials Leo.
and spelling out for them L E O.

at work also.
china clients i know they will nv be able to pronounce.
so i will normally go:

me: 我姓蔡
him: 哦。姓蔡是吧？
me: 是的。

when inside my heart is:
